To add a rectangular frame

  1. From the Parametric Frame Builder dialog, select Add Frame from the Action list box.
  2. Select the frame Type.
  3. Select the rectangular Shape.
  4. Click Build Command.

    A command line is generated in the Command list box at the bottom of the dialog.

  5. Click Update to execute the command(s) in the Command list box. The frame is displayed in the Front 3D and Top 2D graphic views. The frame number is displayed in the Front view. The frame contains a 3D and 2D representation of the frame: The 3D data are linear forms. The parts attached to the forms are stored in the Settings file, the 2D representation of the frame is placed at the bottom of the frame. It is made up of construction class elements (lines and shapes).

    A Pane Default pane is included in the frame. can modify the type of pane by selecting Modify Pane from the Action list box.

    The frame has one (single wall) or two (cavity wall) opening shapes (perforators). A perforator is the shape that is used to create the opening in the wall.

    If have selected a frame size from the Dimension list box different from size 1 (that is, one of the 9 size possibilities, other than size 1): Enter a value in the Origin XYZ fields to position the frame relative to frame 1 or can refer to the height and width of the frame by entering the following: H <frame number in the dimension list box> (height). W <frame number in the dimension list bar> (width).
